These four ambient piano pieces were composed live at the home of a loved one who was going through a period of recovery and healing. She believed the sound of the piano helped her rest. I recorded myself improvising on the piano downstairs while she rested upstairs, then edited and augmented the recordings using laptop software and synthesizers. I originally shared the music with her to help her rest when I wasn't there, as a kind of atmospheric soundtrack to her healing process. I believe these compositions can help anyone unwind, power down and find a relaxed state of body and mind.
